(Even if you don't believe in "a" God, or in Heaven or Hell, this
still may be of some interest to you.)
After we die, God is not
going to ask us if we believed in creation or evolution.
Two important questions (or some variation of) that he will
very likely
ask are:
"How
did you respond to my Son, Jesus Christ?" and,
"What
did you do with the gifts I gave you?"
So
why does it matter which way you believe?
It is a question that I hear alot, but the answer seems rather
obvious:
Because
your
answer to the creation/evolution question will very likely have a direct
bearing on your answers to those two "important" questions.
So, keeping that thought in mind I've provided the following links to a
few sites, most of
which are founded in creationism, but not all.
By the way. We (or more correctly my wife) homeschool and
we teach both
evolutionism and creationism - AS WORLD VIEWS AND BELIEF SYSTEMS - NOT
SCIENCE. Just because evolutionism does not
refer to a "god" doesn't make it science. It's as much of
a religion as
any other. As far as public school is concerned we would not strive so
much to put creationism into science classes but remove evolutionism
from them and put it where it belongs - in courses dealing with
religion and world views. If either is taught in a science class they both should be presented
and only as the pre-concieved bias upon which we perform scientific
studies. ALL humans have a bias, and ALL scientists are humans.
This page is not meant as a place for "disucussion" of the issue.
The links are provided for this purpose and to provide possible answers
to the
curious. But I'll leave you with the same thought as above : People
believe what they want to. Both sides can argue "proof"
after "proof" until blue in the face and no one will have
changed their mind.
It is in this light that I refer
you to the following links.
